Sky Traveler

It comes from above, a clearness that swoops out of gray,

through streaming avenue of boughs that fade,

under autumn orange that will drift to cover the earth in the days that lead to crisp winter,

up and out, parting two guards and leaving a red youth behind,

into the openness that spans all fields.
