Driving my Heart

Driving my Heart

$550.00

This piece is 14” x 14” on a 1/2” deep birch panel.

This piece was inspired from one of the many photos I took this summer with my son and his girlfriend driving her home. It was a time of great joy and love as my son drove and I peed my pants with excitement witnessing the beauty in the sky, exclaiming for him to pull over. Both myself and his girlfriend would then shoot tons of photos and my son would often laugh and say we were so cute. Sometimes, he would act annoyed as he didn’t see the beauty we saw, but he would always pull over anyway, with a little smile creeping in over his annoyance. I can’t think of a better way to express my joy over this time in my life, than to paint it with all the love in my heart. I can still hear his laughter and his joy and I will never forget those times in the car, driving my heart towards capturing beauty.
